Hey pals! :P How are you? I've been missing you! I want to thank all the wonderful people who sent me those Snowflake cookies as a holiday gift, I really appreciated! My inbox was overwhelmed and I was like 'WOOOOOW'! And obviously I was getting hungry :P I'd have liked to send them back to all of you, but evil!LJ took it down! They were probably getting fooled by the fact that everyone took the free gifts and not the other ones! :S I'll just get you a bunch of my love in return, hoping it's enough!

We haven't heard from each other in centuries but I hope you're okay and you're celebrating your birthday in any amazing way, whether it be with the people you love, having fun in some part of the world, getting drunk, or whatever. Love you.

P.s. Just finished Harper's island, and still shocked. God, that was heavy. I thought I could manage it as long as it was the random cruel craziness of a murderer... but we all know it was worse than that. And the final clips just killed me.

When in Bologna

E così me ne torno a casa, una converse sporca di cioccolato e 24 euro in meno nel portafoglio. Ma è stata una bella giornata. Ho rivalutato Bologna, al punto che vorrei tornarci domani, e il prossimo weekend, e così via.
Sono andata con alcuni amici in occasione della Fiera del Cioccolato. Mi sarei portata via tutta la fiera ma mi sono limitata a una mousse cioccolato e nocciola, a una fonduta con fragole e a una cioccolata calda (che era praticamente latte e nesquik -.-).
Ho deciso che investirò in libri: non posso più ignorare ciò che sento quando entro in una libreria, e mi chiedo 'ma perchè tanta bellezza non può essere mia di diritto?'. E perchè dovrei farmi tanti scrupoli sull'acquistare libri quando so benissimo che ne varrebbe la pena, che non sarebbe uno sperpero, perchè ogni storia è degna di essere raccontata?
Mi fa compagnia anche una tazza da colazione con la stampa della Union Jack, comprata oggi. Finalmente mi sento un po' british anch'io. Mi rendo conto che è un bisogno che potrebbe non essere capito, ma frequentare una scuola di lingue straniere e fare parte di quel 2% di persone che non è mai stata in UK non è facile. Appena torno a casa nelle Marche mi riapproprio della mia macchina fotografica (di cui pensavo di poter fare a meno qui a Forlì, ma non è così) e ve la faccio vedere.
A Bologna voglio tornare presto sul serio. Per tornare da McDonald's, Pimkie, Tezenis, Foot Locker, Bata, Geox, H&M, Sisley, Benetton, Feltrinelli (International) e Zara, e farci acquisti (ovviamente non in tutto xD), naturalmente in compagnia. 'Cause happiness' real only when shared. Vi voglio bene, mondo, e sono felice.

P.s. Ieri io e Martina abbiamo visto 'Into the wild'. E mi ha sconvolto. Pensavo sarebbe stata la classica storia dell'intellettuale che si emargina dalla società e lo mette nel culo a tutti dimostrando quanto faccia schifo, e quanto la natura pura sia migliore. Dimostrando di avere ragione. E invece no, perchè alla fine del film muore, vittima del suo sogno. Perde la sfida che aveva lanciato a se stesso. Viene sconfitto, quasi, ma non è questa una visione delle cose che posso/voglio accettare, anche perchè non è questo che il film voleva trasmettere. A noi è stata semplicemente raccontata quella storia, che è una storia vera, e un senso non ce l'ha, se non quello che gli è stato donato dal destino. Siamo noi a decidere come farla nostra e come recepirla. Io posso solo pensare ora di essere molto superficiale, se basta la morte del protagonista a sconvolgermi nel profondo, a far cambiare il mio punto di vista, e a rendere il film molto bello - insomma, più bello di quello che sarebbe stato se Chris non fosse morto. Voi che dite?

It mostly refers to the fifth season, when Jack and Kate are experiencing obvious troubles, even because Jack wants to reset it all and this means resetting what has ever happened between the two of them.

2 - pick your three favorites cities, and explain why they are your favorites
My favourite italian city is Trieste - if you saw my picspam in February you know why. It's magic, it's right next to the sea, it's fascinating and you can find different buildings of different kinds which recall many European cultures, not only the Italian one.
Right after it comes Rome: a city where I can feel the history of my own country, where I feel my roots are.
The third city's New York. I've never been there but those many tv show I watched have made me enough familiar with it, and I've realized it's the city of entertainment. Who's never wished to be able to drink a frappuccino while walking in the streets of NY, surrounded by yellow taxis and people from all over the world? And all those lights at night, those skyscrapers... God, that's where I want to live ♥

3 - you are a superhero, and you have the ability to read other people minds, fly, and be invisible; you have to say goodbye to one of your super-powers: which one do you choose?
I'd sure keep the 'reading-other-people's-minds' power. I am a curious person and I'd die to know what other people think (of me). I think I'd say goodbye to the ability of flying: the power of being invisible would make me invincible (or pretty unvulnerable) against enemies ;)

4 - is there a movie you've seen more than 10 times? If so, which one is it?
I've never seen a movie all those times, but I've seen 'The Legend of 1900' plenty of times, and that's actually my favourite movie ever.

+ These days a brand new idea has come to my mind. An idea for a LJ comm. Of course there's no way I'm gonna be able to open one (on my own) but I still wanted to share it with you and hear what you think of it, whether it's good or not.
You know all these tv shows that (sometimes, unfairly) come to an end without things to properly end at all? Well, probably many of you, more than once, have written fanfictions on or just imagined alternative (better) endings for them. What if this comm was a specific place where to gather all of these works? It might be called HISVE (How It Should'Ve Ended) or something like that...okay, this is insane, isn't it?

Today I noticed that a part of my f-list defriended me. And it hurts, mostly because I deserve it. I've been repeating for a month how sorry I was for being absent so long from LJ, hoping that you would put up with it and go on having me as a friend, becasue really, it would have been great to get online after so long and being able to give a quick look and comment to what you all people are at in this period...but probably I asked for too much.
I used to want my friends to read & comment my entries myself, and I'm aware of the fact a lot of other people think the same... so what is the point of having a person as a friend when she never posts comments? She may care about you, but what is the point of caring if she's not able to read?

My point is: I'm sorry about the cuts, but you're all right, so I won't be crawling for re-addings because my situation's not gonna change. I will cut you back and accept your decision.
But most of all I want to thank all the people who kept me instead. Because you're awesome, guys. You're putting up with this shit I am and you still care, no matter what, without me even asking for keeping me. You can't realize how important is to me to be able to get to know how you feel and what you're doing. How important you are and how important is not losing you.

So here's the general tv show review for this week. Man I'm so happy all these shows are finally back - but unluckily this abundance of vids to watch is going to end.
I'll be attending university from next monday and I don't know if i will get the chance to get online. Also, my internet connection may not be good enough to allow me to download anything. And even in the weekends I won't be able to download that much because my dad is cutting our connection at home, since we'd keep paying for it even if no one uses it, cause I'll be gone.
Thus I'm announcing a positive hiatus for the next 5-7 days and a probable semi-hiatus for the next months, cause I might not be able to comment your entries and be present on LJ (and other social networks) as much as I've done so far. But I'll update you about that. Meanwhile, cross your fingers for me, and see you at my next entry! XOXO

Supernatural
(+) This episode was fucking amazing. I think it's, like, the best so far!
(+) "Simple man" by Shinedown is breaking my heart to pieces (it's the opening song)
(+) Castiel did good at not making us nostalgic of Sam. He's a good hunt companion after all! He makes you laugh your ass off! That night at the club was just hilarious - have you seen the look on his face? GOD ROTFL!
(+) So many references to a possible Castiel/Dean pairing too - I'm so happy you can't even imagine *_* Castiel's first appearance, he was so close to Dean they couldn't help but looking at each other's eyes; his demands for help to Dean, the way Dean looked at him and said yes; and then on Castiel's supposedly last night on Earth, when Dean was surprised by the fact that he's never been with a woman, and I was betting my right hand that Castiel would say 'I'm gay' or 'Truth is, i love you' and that they would spend that night together! AWWW! How I love them! ~~And how sick I am~~
(+) Misha is doing an hell of a job with Castiel, I realize this more and more, episode after episode. Especially in this one, where we got to see him a lot. In every single expression of Castiel there is some strange emptiness and yet a bunch of different feelings and thoughts at the same. I loved that scene in the car, at the end of the episode, when he looks outside the car window with that sad look of his, and he looks like he's not thinking of anything, as usual, but yet he is.
(+) Another great acting was Rafael's - okay, the actor portraying him, you got me - cause he was magnificent in both his voice and features. And how he sounded broken while talking of God... his eyes were watery, you could see from the reflection of the fire around him.
(+) And I like it that they keep bringing on the 'God is dead' thing. Of course it reminds me of Nietzsche, and I appreciate this link to philosophy; but above all, it reflects how hard it is for us in the XXI century to believe in God's existance. It makes you feel less lonely to see that the Angels are wondering where their father is too, why he doesn't get involved in the lives of his children. It's one of the biggest moral and religious issues of our culture in this century, and I'm so curious to see what the answer's gonna be. What Kripke's God will do. And somewhere inside me, I hope it's gonna be relieving.
(+) YAY Mark! He's just awesome! I knew it was Lucifer all the time, but it was the best thing to see him reveal himself at the end of the episode.
(+) AND THE VESSEL THING!!!! AM I ACTUALLY USING A PLUS? cause this sucks big time, guys. And we kind of saw it coming, all of us, didn't we? But still - it's genius. It's gonna make the season more angsty and thus more beautiful. cause we all know it's gonna be okay in the end. Don't we?
(-) What happened to Sam in the bar was just cruel. I've noticed how often human hunters are playing the part of the bad guys. WE've met a lot of hunter who acted like shit to their colleagues so far.
(-) WHUT? Dean is HAPPY? DUDE, what have you been smoking? I'm sure you will regret saying this, you probably did the exact second Castiel disappeared from the inside of your car and you were left alone again. I'm sure you didn't mean it at all.

Glee
(+) Chris Colfer rocks! His perfomances of single ladies made my day! I've been singing that song here and there all day!
(+) Finn is too cute!
(+) The Will/Emma hug at the match!! Did you see it? ♥♥♥
(+) LMAO at Sue's corner! It was so funny to see her say those things - and she was pretty into them too - and then make fun of her colleagues' life! I know I was supposed to be sorry for Emma, Will and the coach but I couldn't help but laugh! XD
(+) I think I feel sorry for Puck after all. They should give him a second chance to be a father, and i bet he would make a good couple with Quinn. Just leave alone that poor innocent Finn.

Grey's Anatomy
(+) i loved how they handled the situation, the grief thing. I know that the five steps of acceptance are kind of a clichè for American tv shows, but I like it every single time they use it. And Grey's quotes are like, the best.
(+) You sons of bitches made me believe it wasn't Georgie for a second. But it was. And you just made it more heartbreaking and it sounds sadistic, but it was also more beautiful ♥
(+) The final scene of Meredith crying over George's empty closet. Oh, Shonda, you do know how to make a character feel so emo.
(+) Cristina is a wonderful character. Again, she stunned me: it's fascinating that she realized at the end that George was dead.
(+) I'm so glad that Izzie got to stay. It wouldn't be the same without her. It won't be the same without George either, but her, I would have missed too fucking much. And I knew it had to be her to talk to Amanda. She gave out one hell of a speech and she was totally right. George gave his life so Amanda could have one again, and she's wasting it by sitting there?
(+) Callie was so funny with the self-confidence thing! She makes a great couple with Arizona, which is so cute btw!
(-) And Alex is always a jerk. He used to be so nice in s5, and now he has to act like an ass all over again.
(-) The Chief is gonna be a pain in the ass too. He kept screwing it up with everyone for the whole episode, and of course it's not gonna be long before he and Derek have a fight about what's going to happened and how it could have been stopped.

The Vampire Diaries
(+) Whoa, this is the first TVD episode I've appreciated, in every single part. I actually squee-ed for this one! This show starts to rock, there is a lot to be curious about and I'm glad Stephenie Meyer didn't copy actually everything from this story, so there is something left to see *lol*
(+) Paul Wesley is HOT - and I know I already said that, but I'm going for it again
(+) Damon is still my favourite character so far, and Ian Somerhalder is so good. It must be hard to portray him since he's so full of meanings and contradictions. His quotes are memorable.
(+) I used to not like Elena but now I do. She kicks asses too :)
(+) Matt is just too cute and handsome. Finally a former boyfriend who doesn't get to hate the actual boyfriend. I hope he and Stefan will become good friends - and they would actually be worth shipping with each other... Just sayin'
(-) Someone kill Tyler, please. That guy is so annoying.
(-) And the history teacher. Luckily Damon cut him off, he was so hateful *lol*

I've decided I'll try to post reviews of all the episodes I see once or twice a week, since I'm hardly gonna be able to watch them the same day (of the day after) they're released when I'm attending university. As long as you're interested, of course ;)

Gossip Girl
(+) I'm starting to like Carter a lot. He looked so cute in this episode! A bit emo, too :P
(+) Lovely hug between Chuck and Blair in bed. They look like a married couple! <333333
(+) Serena's outfits, as usual.
(-) Blair's outfits, as usual.
(-) Blair's performance at Georgina's party looked sadly similar to the s1 episode when she screwed Serena in front of everyone, by telling everyone about the clinic. I was hoping Schwartz would have Blair come up with something different, but you know what it is, old habits die hard.
(-) Serena is a bitch. Yeah, I'd never thought I would say that either, but she acted like a total bitch in this episode. I know she only wanted to get revenge on Chuck for the Brown thing, but she is the one who started it all, she was supposed to tell everyone about her decision, and not giving Chuck the responsibility to hide her. I hope she's going to apologize to Chuck for her behaviour.
(-) Nate + Bree = BORING, BORING, BORING. They can't expect us to like the two when Bree was never properly introduced to us as a character, but only in relation to Nate.
(-) DAN AND GEORGINA? WTF?!?!?! The worst couple ever seen on Gossip Girl. And maybe on the whole screen.

Heroes
(+) They started the episode by showing a brand new bunch of characters and this made everything more exciting.
(+) It's great to see Robert Knepper portraying a different role from the usual one he's been carrying on with Prison Break. The actor is so talented and charming, I can't wait for seeing what Samuel's real purpose is. And how many powers has he got?
(+) Peter looks pretty much hotter.
(+) Love the Peter/HRG team.
(+) Brand new season, brand new pairings. Noah/Tracy is interesting.
(+) Also, no Suresh in this episode! Yay! Let's hope it stays this way.
(+) How fun it was to see Sylar playing around with Matt! I'm sure Zachary's enjoying this a lot! And he looks even more handsome in Matt's head, lol
(+) Hayden's been keeping fit too. She looks thinner and even cuter with that haircut. I didn't like her fringe.
(-) I was astonished when I heard that Angela Petrelli is going to do the Company thing all over again. I was like WHUT? they're still trying to rewrite the whole story here. I don't know, Angela, find some hobby. Try crochet-hook.

One Tree Hill
(+) Dan is hilarious, in the positive meaning of the term.
(+) I laughed my ass off when Haley mocked Peyton and Lucas! It was a nice way to make them still present in the show! and the girl's got talent for mocking, i remember she did the same in the past season too!
(+) Mia is the light at the end of the tunnel! The moment she showed up, my heart melted and I thought that OTH wasn't really that bad. I'm looking forward to hearing some new songs of hers.
(-) The Rachel/Dan thing brings OTH to a brand new level of failness.
(-) How is it that Nathan knows he is the father of that baby? Tsk, he's a NBA player, no need of stupid DNA tests, right?

YAAAAAAY my tv shows are back! Now we're really getting into the fall, aren't we?
Let's get this started, in a very short way.

Gossip Girl:
(+) Serena's outfits were gorgeous as usual. The orange dress was amazing - though orange has never been my colour, but everything fits in Serena, right?
(+) Team Dlair FTW! These guys will kick asses together at the NYU! Totally!
(+) Eric and Jenny were so cute! I can't wait for seeing what they're going to face once back in high school.
(+) The Chair moments. Josh Schwartz had my heart miss a heartbeat at the beginning of the episode, when he showed us Chuck with that blondie, but luckily it was just a play ;) And it's harsh to see them fight, but it's even better to see them make up in the end ♥
(+) Are you Serena/Carter shippers? I am. The two of them are cute and I think Carter is the only person Serena can really rely on right now, about that father thing.
(+) I like Vanessa's new look, but I think I am the only one who thinks that. I've heard around that Vanessa's new hair is not so appreciated.
(+) And I like the Scott/Vanessa couple, though...
(-) I'd like to know what happened to Vanessa and Nate's summer trip. Did they go on it and then got separated? I didn't get it from the episode, so I either missed it or they just didn't tell us anything. What do you say?
(-) Jenny's fringe is still here to haunt us.
(-) Blair's outfits were not so great instead. At least not the last one. Mint green dress plus shiny purple shoes and hat? Please.
(-) What is going on with Dan? he was weird. But I've taken a look at the promo for the next episode and I hope he will go back to shine as he used to. And please change your hairdo.

One Tree Hill:
(-) One word: BOOOORING.
(-) OTH's just not the same without Peyton and Lucas :(((
(-) Emo!Brooke is a bit annoying. She wants to be with Julian but she won't let go of Tree Hill, so stop complaining, girl.
(-) WHUT? Millicent's in charge of c|b or something? I hate to see she's sticking around -_-
(-) i want Chase and Mia! And Owen! Where did Owen go?
(-) Oh, great. Problems for Naley on the horizon. I knew that they couldn't make up anything original anymore and they were going to screw up Naley.
(+) Quinn's character looks interesting and I'm glad they decided to get it developed eventually. Also, I like the actress who portrays Quinn. She's got such beautiful eyes.
(+) Dan's still around, YAY! I never stopped hoping for him to get redemption, and he's actually one of the kick-asses-character kind, so YAY again!

Glee:
(+) You know when you have no issues in watching a tv show? well, Glee is so awesome that I've got no minus-es.
(+) Please Mr. Schuester marry me. I'm a Will/Emma shipper but the guy's too cool. The part where he danced that Kanye West's song with the Glee club was my favourite.
(+)Rachel/Finn kiss! YAY! How long before cutie Finn dumps that hateful cheerleader of his girlfriend?
(+) The "Take A Bow" version that they played in the end was gorgeous, even better than the original one! I've got it on my HD now, so if anyone wants it, I'd be glad to share it!

The Vampire Diaries:
(+) HAI PAUL WESLEY. I'm sure I've never seen you before. I would have noticed your hotness.
(+) HAI DAMON.
(+) HAI MATT.
(-) Is "hot guys" all that this show's about? That would explain the success it had with the sole pilot. I mean, what is so exciting about The Vampire Diaries? I found it BORING. They threw in loads of characters whose names I can't even remember, and they've already reached the part where he's in love with her. He even got to enter her house! WTF?
(-) Only a little part for Damon? FAIL.
(-) And YES, the strong resemblance with Twilight is worth another minus.

Supernatural:
(+) The hottest kick-assers are in town. The Winchester boys, Castiel, and even Bobby, they all did great in this episode and I love them more than ever!
(+) badass!Castiel marry me!
(+) slash Dean/Sam fanfictions on the show? Canon since 09/10/2009! YAY!
(-) Dear Eric, why are you doing this to me? Why does Dean keep being all angsty and emo and angry at Sammy? Why do they keep arguing in this heart-breaking way?
(+) it's because you're a great director and you know that problems like that (and the problems season4 was all about) can't be solved in one episode by deciding to destroy Lucifer together. But I really hope they're getting some happiness very soon. That's what they need to move forward.

I wish Audrey had told us something more about Clare's life after Henry. Something more than a couple of pages on her staying in her bed, huddled up like a foetus that's conceived from pain.

I know she's always standing there, waiting for that day of her 82 years when Henry turns up from the dark corridor. Whenever I think of Clare, I figure her, mild and compound, either eating a biscuit or reading the newspaper or laying on a lawn chair in the garden, but still waiting.

I wish I had a true evidence of her happiness. Cause it breaks my heart to think that she's not, as well as it would break Henry's heart. Henry, who already feels guilty for leaving her.

I hope Alba makes her happy, I hope the simple routine of her art and meetings with Charisse are enough, if compared to the extraordinary life she used to live with Henry.

Perhaps, Clare thinks that life isn't over for her yet. She thinks it can last a bit longer, and she can still wait for that day of her oldness when Harry comes back. Because after all, her whole life, she just kept waiting. Why stop now?

This is her illusion: that Henry's not really gone, because he can't be gone.
He's everywhere and nowhere, and time is nothing.

First of all.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY sanzina89!
Sorry for posting so late, but you know I haven't been home in a while! I swear I made these as fast as I could, cause you're just one of the most wonderful persons I've ever met: you're always there for me, when it's time to either laugh or cry, we always have a great time while talking and we obviously share some (not so) hidden connection. You're special and I never want to miss you. And since words will never be enough, here are two little things to help me wish you the greatest incoming year of them all.

|+| So, welcome back to myself (: The holidays were good and I was with my favourite cousins and uncles all the time, but, as I told some of you already, the places we visited were somehow boring. The hotel was a mess! Three stars my ass! XD I'm sorry I didn't take any picture to show you, but trust me, it was kind of devastated! Also, San Martino di Castrozza was a nice but little town with a few things to see. The wheather wasn't so good during the first days of vacation, but luckily it got better in time. A good part of the journey was the so called 'fauna', meaning the guys that my cousins and I couldn't stop watching out for! And there was plenty of! LMAO Let's mention the receptionist, the Romanian waiter, some creepy emo stalkers we noticed the first day, and above all the cute guy who slept in our same hotel and looked a lot like Matthew Fox! OMG he was so tall, I fell in love with him even before seeing his face LOL You must think I'm a psychopath. Well, I'm not. But I've already added him on Facebook cause I managed to get to know his name while we were in San Martino!
Then I went to the Bolsena Lake and that's when things became even more boring. My two cousins from Rome were still there with me, and, of course, we had a lot of fun by stalking some guys - and being stalked back - eating ice creams, diving into the lake... but their grandparents wouldn't stop annoying us with such stupid requests as 'wake up before 9.00 am' or 'come back home before midnight'. I mean, we're on vacation, and we're 19 (at least two of us). They were so kind to host me for this week so I could stay with my cousins, but poor them, they're so old we could hardly stand them! Uff. Anyways, here come some pics! It's not much, I know, but I hope I can show you more when I get them from my relatives who took them, cause I didn't take many as you can see.

I don't know why I liked it so much. Probably because it celebrates our inner selves, and I'm the kind of girl that doesn't like herself and spends her time by trying to be liked by other people. Mi chiedo quando toglierano l'omicidio di Moccia dal libro penale o come diavolo si chiama. CIoè, per la salvezza della dignità di qualcuno, perlomeno dei giovani: ma che lo si uccida
Io ed Ele siamo sopravvissute, che manco quelli di Lost, alla visione di "Scusa ma ti chiamo amore". Se fossi un uomo lo definirei un continuo martellare sui coglioni, ma non essendolo devo trovare qualceh soluzione differente.

insomma...la grande storia d'amore simbolo della gioventù italiana...4 bagheisce, di cui una trova un paramecio da compagnia, lo sfrutta come giocattolino sessuale, si improvvisa macgyver risolvendogli i problemi di lavoro e poi si fa lasciare per la bagheiscia maggiore, che avendo più esperienza torna e si riprende il paramecio in 4 mosse.
Essendo che siamo stupide, e non ci siamo ancora arrese all'evidenza, ovvero che questo film è inguardabile, continuiamo, per vedere il paramecio che capisce che la matrona sadomaso non gli è più di gusto e preferisce la bagheiscia giovane, si sà la carne fresca funziona meglio con la riproduzione molecolare. organizza il teatrino, le lascia la lettera strappalacrime e si ritira a vita sull'eremo, alias faro in terra presumiblimente inglese dove ovviamente tutti parlano italiano per lui.
spenderei un paio di parole sulla scena finale, in cui lei compare con un'espressione da bagascia soddisfatta, con un lifting facciale per farla sembrare almeno maggiorenne che riapre la bocca, dopo i 5 sacri minuti in cui non era stata presente nel film, e ti fa ringraziare Dio che il film sia, finalmente, finito.
